£30,000 NEG + training + development + progression to management

Are you a transport planner, or similar, seeking a progressive role with a reputable logistics company, where you will benefit from ongoing training and development, and the chance to progress to a transport manager role as the company continues to grow?

You will be responsible for organising shipping and transportation activities, supporting inbound or outbound transportation activity.

The role:

  • Plan routes on a 1-2 day rotation
  • Manage the process from order shipment from a client / supplier through booking and completion
  • Manage any transport issues, with the ability to problem solve quickly
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure goods arrive on time
  • Resolve late or misdelivered items
  • Process shipments

The person:

  • Background in Transport / Logistics or Distribution
