Job description: The Bikeability Board Of Trustees is recruiting for new board members, including candidates with background and experience in local authorities.

The Bikeability Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation whose object is to advance the education of the public in general (and particularly amongst children) on the subject of cycling. The Trust manages, develops and promotes the Bikeability programme, supports local authorities, Bikeability training providers and instructors, and distributes Bikeability award materials.

We are looking for:

• Current or recent experience in local government, particularly road safety, highways, local transport, public health or education
• Familiarity with local government procedures and processes
• England and Wales only
