Work hours: 14.0 hours per week

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied and challenging role in the Temporary Staffing Service (TSS), working in the CAG team and delivering this busy service for the University. You will be working in a fast-paced and demanding environment providing support for managers and workers to fill roles to very short deadlines and dealing with a high volume of calls and emails.

This is a part-time role working 14 hours per week. Preferred working pattern of Mondays and Fridays however alternate patterns can be considered.

What will you be doing?

You will be the first point of contact for the service, so you will need to be confident in dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also provide advice and support on issues and queries that may emerge, so you will need to be confident in using your experience and judgements to make decisions. There will be a large volume of admin related to the high volume of roles filled each week, so it is important that you are confident in working proactively and effectively under pressure, and able to prioritise conflicting demands on your time.

You should apply if

The post will require strong communication and customer service skills. You will have administrative experience gained in a busy office environment, where you will have developed excellent organisation and time management skills. You will be part of a small team meeting temporary needs across the University, so you must be flexible, able to work under pressure and demonstrate your commitment to delivering a quality service.
