A new and exciting position has recently become live with a global organisation in the aviation industry.
They are searching for an experienced UX Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant must have at least 3 years of commercial experience in UX Design. They will have experience in data web applications (charting, tabular data, etc), as that is a key part of the client’s system.
This role requires you to travel to West London four times a week. This means you must live in and have the right to work in the UK.
As a UX Designer, you will:
- Engage in user research and testing activities to comprehend user preferences and requirements.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and task flows based on insights gathered from user feedback.
- Collaborate closely with designers and developers to craft user-friendly and intuitive software solutions.
- Aid in the formulation of User Stories to guide developers in the development process.
- Devise and implement visually appealing and user-centric interfaces for software applications.
- Ensure the accessibility of software for users with disabilities.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in UX design.
- Contribute input to systems definition, technical design, and cost estimation for proposal preparation on new products.
- Provide technical insights during customer-attended design review presentations.
- Offer estimates and input for scheduling in user interface design statements of work.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with data visualisation libraries such as HighCharts, D3.js, Plotly
- Experience with user research and testing tools
- Experience with A/B testing tools
