We are looking to recruit a Valuer/Trainee Valuer to work within our Valuation Team.

Applications are invited from Members/Associates of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Graduates with an RICS accredited degree or candidates with relevant experience in an Assessors Service or equivalent experience in the land and property sector who possess the entry requirements for the BSc in Real Estate Management at the College of Estate Management, or another similar RICS accredited qualification.

Consideration will also be given to candidates who meet the entry qualifications for the postgraduate MSC in Real Estate at CEM.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the survey and valuation of a wide range of property for rating purposes, the survey and valuation of domestic property for Council Tax, the negotiation of appeals with council taxpayers, ratepayers and professional agents and shall assist with the preparation of evidence for cases that proceed to the Local Taxation Chamber of the First Tier Tribunal.
