Job description: Vehicle Mechanic | Blantyre, Glasgow | 50 hours per week between the hours of 7am- 5.30pm | £12 – £16 per hourOur client is an accident repair centre that is part of the One Call Group of companies. It has been established for over 10 years and is a group of insurance-approved vehicle repair centres, working to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. They specialise in car body repairs and accident crash repairs.They are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle and Car Mechanic to join their team and deliver the best customer service to clients.Are you the right person for the job?
- Relevant automotive NVQ Level 2 or 3 of City & Guilds qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work as part of a team and using your own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintaining a high standard whilst working under pressure
- Completing each task within the time frame given
What will your role look like?
- Ability to service all aspects of mechanical components of cars and small trucks
- Identifying the extent of damage
- Accessing and removing damaged components
- Installing new components
- Using welding and soldering equipment
- Ensuring the vehicle is in working order
