Job description: EMG Kings Lynn and is part of Grainger Motor Group, one of the fastest growing family-owned dealer groups in the UK with 14 locations across the South and East Anglia.ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance, adhering to manufacturer and company standards.
Utilise diagnostic tools to accurately identify and resolve complex vehicle issues, offering timely solutions.
Work in collaboration with the team to ensure efficient service and repair of vehicles.
Promptly communicate any discovered issues to the Service Department for effective customer updates.
Maintain a clean, organised workshop space.
Stay up to date with industry technological advancements and best practices.
Follow strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
Execute electronic visual health checks (EVHC) on vehicles, providing detailed reports and professional recommendations to customers.
To be successful in this role you will haveDeep, expert-level knowledge of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, brakes, electronics).
Proven experience in using diagnostic systems to identify and rectify faults efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills, team collaboration capabilities, and the ability to perform under pressure.
A keen eye for detail in all aspects of work.
Experience & QualificationsVehicle Technician Experience: Minimum 3 years (preferred)
License/Certification: Full UK Driving Licence (required)
