Visiting Fellowship 2024-25 at University of Oxford
Job Description
Mansfield College proposes to elect one or more Visiting Fellowships for all or part of the academic year October 2024 – September 2025. The purpose of the Visiting Fellowship, which is non-stipendiary, is to provide a social and academic base for visiting scholars to conduct research in Oxford University, to have access to University libraries, and to use the College as a means of establishing contact with other scholars in the College and the University. Applications from scholars whose interests lie within the range of subjects offered at Mansfield will be considered, i.e. Asian and Middle Eastern Studies Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, English, Geography, History, Human Sciences, Jurisprudence, Mathematics, Material Science, Philosophy, Physics, Politics, and Theology.
Visiting Fellows will be full members of the Senior Common Room. The Fellowship covers free meals in College when the kitchens are open. The College is unable to provide study space or residential accommodation.
Please note that the Fellowship is not suitable for DPhil/PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, or academics holding a post in Oxford.
