Notably, our collection includes a remarkable array of oaks, camellias, magnolias, and rhododendrons. Founded in 1977 by Sir Harold Hillier, the Gardens were established as a charitable trust, with Hampshire County Council assuming the role of sole trustee. The primary objective of the trust is to perpetuate Sir Harold’s legacy by nurturing and enhancing the Gardens for the benefit of the people.Over the last two decades, visitor numbers and memberships have increased significantly, leading to an expansion of our team to meet the changing needs of our visitors and to further develop our internationally renowned collection.We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Visitor Services and Administration Manager to ensure every visitor enjoys an exceptional experience, and to lead our Administration Team.
