About the team

FIS’ Merchant Solutions segment ‘Worldpay from FIS’, serves large and fast-growing companies targeting internet-led multinationals with complex payment needs supported by vertical expertise in their eCommerce business. Their solutions also provide local in-store, online and mobile payment acceptance solutions for merchants, from large corporates to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs/SMBs) and micro merchants with a focus on integrated payments for SMEs/SMBs.

The Merchant Solutions International Accounting team lead accounting for Worldpay’s businesses globally, outside of the U.S, and ensure the highest standards are maintained in relation to Statutory Accounting, Controls and Audit.

What you will be doing

As the VP Finance Group Executive, leading the International Accounting function, you will manage a team of around 35 highly talented accountants, with a focus on quality of delivery and the streamlining of processes through programmes of change.

  • Management and mentorship of a team of 35 based across Manchester and international locations
  • Leadership of quarterly reviews, and annual audits
  • Programme mapping, test and design of account practices and controls
  • Drive the SOX programme, ensuring best practice across the groups
  • Support international growth initiatives across multiple international locations
  • Integrate future mergers and acquisitions to build a scalable accounting function

What you bring

  • A qualified accountant, with extensive experience in accounting, audit, process and controls
  • A credible and experienced leader and manager of managers, with a passion for people management and creating a great team environment
  • Substantial experience within a large global corporate, with complex international reporting requirements
  • A leader of financial audits, driving a culture transparency and controls
