Salary: £25,000 – £28,000

Working 5 out of 7 days per week – 8.30am-5.30pm

25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

From corporate events to private parties and even large format live music events – all bases are covered.

Job Purpose Summary:

Due to a growth, we are now looking to expand their team with a Warehouse Assistant to join the existing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands on preparation of equipment for productions and dry hires to the highest standard.
  • Checking in equipment returned from hire.
  • Ensuring all equipment is functional, clean, maintained and well presented to meet Sterling standards.
  • Ensuring workspaces are kept in clean and orderly condition.
  • Maintain clean, clear, and safe loading bays.
  • Loading /Unloading of vans and trucks.
  • Cleaning dancefloors, drapes, star cloths, cables, screen surfaces etc. returned from events.
  • Painting stage decks.
  • Labelling of flight cases, racking and equipment.
  • Complying with company health and safety procedures.
  • Occasional work on site rigging / de rigging for events.
  • Occasional deliveries / collections (Full UK driving license an advantage but not essential)
  • Other duties to meet the needs of the business.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Strong IT skills. High self-motivation, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in working within a warehouse.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High standard of presentation
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines.
  • High self-motivation.
  • Flexibility and a positive can-do attitude.

In Return:

As well as offering great progression routes, you will also receive an annual salary of between £25K – £28K, 28 days annual leave, private healthcare and an income protection scheme to ensure you are covered in the event of long-term sickness.

There will also be regular opportunities to increase your earnings by working overtime. This is never obligatory and is only required if you wish to do so.
