Warehouse Cleaner in Luton
Hourly Wage: £10.42 per hour
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties to uphold cleanliness and orderliness within the warehouse.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris effectively.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, including shelves, equipment, and common areas.
- Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas, adhering to waste management protocols.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, and promptly notify management of low inventory levels.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all staff.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and management.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move objects if necessary.
- Availability to work the specified hours and days as outlined in the job description.
