What are the day-to-day responsibilities of a Warehouse & Distribution Manager:

• Shape future Warehouse Distribution plans in line with company strategy.
• Drive performance through inspirational leadership: Coach, mentor and develop all team members.
• Develop high quality reporting / KPIs to support continuous improvement and best practice.
• Ensure all operational areas are fully maintained to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Work closely with external suppliers and couriers to ensure excellent customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications of the Warehouse & Distribution Manager:

• 5 years + management experience in operational warehousing and logistics, ideally within a busy UK B2B business.
• Proven leadership in Health and Safety (IOSH / NEBOSH qualified)
• Confident leading the operational introduction of WMS / ERP software
• Strong IT Skills (including Microsoft Office)
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
