Job Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

My client who manufactures top class machines within the ground maintenance and turf care industry.

Role and Responsibilities –

This is a key role within the business to oversee and manage all receiving, handling and storage activities within the warehouse. Other responsibilities include:

  • Proactively (& visibly) reporting and improving against key departmental measures
  • Implement housekeeping and 5S controls in the stores & logistics areas.
  • Take ownership of inbound and outbound logistics costs and processes to ensure best value for money services.
  • Ensure Material / WIP / Component shortages are identified early in the process and suitable corrective actions are implemented to prevent assembly line stoppages / stock outs

Experience or Qualifications –

  • Previous experience in warehouse manager position ideally within an engineering or manufacturing business
  • Excellent understating pf ERP/MRP systems / Bills of Materials
  • Knowledge of best practice within a warehouse environment
  • Experience of devising, managing, and delivering KPI’s

Candidates who currently are a Warehouse & Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, Stock Control Manager or Warehouse Supervisor would be suitable for this position.
