The Role/Candidate

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join our Head Office facility based in Westhoughton. The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our goods in/ out. Working closely with all BID stakeholders the successful candidate will oversee the dispatch of all finished products, maintain stock control, and uphold the highest standards.

Duties will include:

· Overseeing existing procurement, goods in/out and transport functions.

· Ensuring the efficient procurement, storage and distribution of parts, materials and finished products, with a view to continuous improvement in all areas.

· Liasing with production, transport, and site operations to implement strategies to improve goods out and ensure timely and efficient dispatch.

· Overseeing the fitting out of the storage and distribution warehouse to optmise storage and racking facilities.

· Ensuring good housekeeping, cleanliness, and tidiness within the warehouse on a day-to-day basis.

· Ensuring adequate stock levels at all times, including regional stock holding sites.

· Sourcing and implementing a stock system which integrates with existing IT systems.

· Assist in the implementation of new projects, their goals, and objectives as required.

· Other ad hoc duties as necessary.

Previous experience within in a similar role would be a distinct advantage, as would a manufacturing background. You must have a good business acumen, with strong verbal, written and organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.

Location: Wingates Industrial Park, Westhoughton, Bolton

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000K PA (depending on experience)

Hours Of Work: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday
