Job description: We are looking for a Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to join the Frontier team, based at our new site at Braintree, on a permanent full-time basis.

You will be responsible for leading a dedicated team and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility in Braintree. You will play an active role in maintaining high standards of service delivery, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a great place to work culture.

About You

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team
  • Good communications skills
  • The ability to build effective working relationships
  • Experience and knowledge of adhering to health and safety standards within a warehouse environment
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining Frontier’s ICE values
  • Adapts quickly and successfully to accommodate changing business and customer needs, whilst providing a responsive customer focussed service
  • Ability to multitask and liaise with different departments
  • Attention to detail providing high levels of accuracy
  • Works to accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontier’s business
  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of COMAH is desirable but not essential

Your Role Will Involve

As a Warehouse Logistics Supervisor your role will involve:

  • Managing the day to day running of the team ensuring that customer orders are met, maximizing efficiency and quality
  • Responsibility for the security of the site
  • Identifying and reporting staff training requirements, coach and develop staff
  • Implementing company procedures, ensuring that best practices are observed, and safe systems of work are being followed
  • Creating a positive and engaging working environment. Proactively raising operational issues to your line manager
  • Delivering all company policies and procedures in relation to Health and Safety and Frontier policies and procedures
  • Driving efficiencies and challenge the process to ensure that the site operates to best practice while maintaining high levels of customer service
  • Organising order collation – picking, wrapping and loading of orders on to vehicles
  • Using computer-based stock ordering system to ensure accurate stocks are kept up to date at all times and remain compliant with COMAH limits
  • Carrying out weekly and quarterly stock takes ensuring any discrepancies are investigated and resolved in an efficient manner
  • Developing, co-ordinating and delivering Service Level Agreements (SLA) in relation to Crop Protection deliveries
