Job description: We are recruiting a warehouse manager for out client based in Wellingborough.
Our client are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join the team there Wellingborough E-Commerce Distribution Warehouse on a full-time basis. You’ll lead our Warehouse Team, oversee packing operations, provide guidance across shifts, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and inspire a productive atmosphere that directly contributes to the customers’ satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities ● Active Leadership: Lead our Warehouse Team in a fast-paced environment; hands-on in overseeing packing operations, ensuring daily targets are met. ● Staff Management: Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational demands, including scheduling and overseeing shift rosters. Actively involved in hiring and training new team members to maintain a high-performing warehouse team. ● Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to create a secure working environment. ● BRC Standards Compliance: Ensure all warehouse operations conform to BRC standards. ● Teamwork and Efficiency: Promote teamwork and ensure all orders are picked and dispatched efficiently and accurately, reducing incorrect picks. ● System Oversight: Oversee critical software systems integral to warehouse operations, including staff training and issue resolution, while optimising system efficiency. Qualifications ● Solid understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols. ● Exceptional leadership and people management skills. ● Experience with stock control and problem-solving. ● Goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets. ● Forklift License and BRC Certification (preferred)
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 08.00am until 17.00pm.
12 weeks probation period.
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
