Job description: Job Description:Hi Vis Hire, Specialist Recruiters for the Hire industry currently has an opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join a major Electrical distributor at their site in HillingtonYou will be responsible for running the busy Warehouse and managing a team warehouse staff and drivers to ensure that all targets are achieved and customers are satisfied with the service.Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and monitoring the picking lines ensuring H&S is adhered to at all times
- Taking deliveries from suppliers
- Directly managing Warehouse and driving staff and being responsible for assigning daily tasks, their performance and conduct at work.
- Checking goods in and out of warehouse
- Coaching and training employees
- Ensuring the Warehouse is organised and is free of debris and potential hazards
Skills required
- Demonstrable experience of running a team within a Distribution warehouse environment
- Understanding O Licence requirements and good working knowledge of current H&S legislation.
- Good communication skills and IT literate
- Forklift Licence and Class 2 Licence advantageous, but not essential
