Role Highlights:

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of our operations. You’ll manage the day-to-day activities of our National Distribution Centre, spearheading the implementation of LEAN principles to enhance efficiency and achieve functional objectives. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a first-class customer experience, and you will play a key part in the implementation of a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365).

This position will be an ideal opportunity for a positive, organised individual with the ability to motivate a team, maximize process efficiency and productivity and implement new systems and procedures to enable continued growth. Managing all activities of the warehouse & logistics facility with an annual volume throughput upwards of 6 million litres / £15m. Responsible for management & development of the warehouse & logistics team, ensuring accountability at all levels towards achieving business goals and personal targets.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in managing operations in a fast paced warehouse environment
  • Proved success in implementing LEAN principles
  • Knowledge of operating Warehouse Management Systems
  • Familiarity with EU driving hours / WTD
  • Ability to manage change effectively is essential
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Resilient, persistent and tenacious
  • HSE qualifications are an advantage
  • Experience of handling export shipments is desirable
  • Experience of conducting appraisals / performance management is desirable
  • CPC qualification is desirable
