Job description: Position: Warehouse Operative

Day shift: £26,000 – £26,500

Location: Dagenham

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 06:00am – 14:00pm

Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple skilled Warehouse Operatives in Dagenham to start work immediately.

This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance automotive parts. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.

Our client requires candidates who have experience working within a manufacturing/engineering warehouse environment. You will have an understanding of and adherence to Health – Safety legislation including COSHH requirements.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for

• Picking and packing items for delivery
• Picking parts for the production team
• Loading and unloading of materials
• Actively assist in the Goods in / Goods out department
• Checking stock and logging inventory
• FLT / Counterbalance duties – Desirable

• Key skills for the role include, but not limited to: –
• Microsoft / Warehouse MRP experience – Desirable
• FLT / Counterbalance / Bendi Truck Licence – Desirable
• Work effectively as part of a team and under own initiative.
• Strong communication skills.
• Be resourceful and adaptable with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Reliable / good time keeping.
• Self-motivated / proactive / Solution Finding.
