Job description:
- Duration: 6-month+ contract
- Working hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
- Pay rate: £11.79 p/h.
- Location: Feltham
We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to be based at our Heathrow depot to provide support and assistance to the Stores Manager.
Responsibilities:
- You will provide support and Assistance to the Stores/Warehouse Manager
- Ensure the depot runs smoothly and safely, always adhering to compliance.
- Taking stock of deliveries and performing stock checks on a regular basis
- Ensuring the removal of waste, and that it is dealt with correctly.
- Provide a good packaging and dispatch service for engineers.
The successful candidate will have worked within a fast-paced environment. Be a team player and willing to help and support the manager as and when required as well as being a key part of the Stores/Warehouse team.
Key requirements:
- Must be familiar with the use of method statements and the need for safe working practices.
- Ideally have previous Forklift truck experience – if not training will be provided.
- Have experience of Ms Office and Excel.
- Be used to working to strict health and safety guidelines.
