Job description: Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client’s busy distribution center for fresh food.
Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Wakefield.
The rate of pay is £10.42 per hour.
This is a full-time role, working a fixed shift, and the hours of work are:
– 2pm to 10pm
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, you will work in a chilled environment with a temperature between 3-5 degrees. Your duties include:
– Following digital order sheets to select items from locations, following any special instructions, and delivering items to cages for shipping
– Reporting broken or damaged items and conducting stock checks
– Working safely and carefully, with food and health and safety policies in mind every day, so that the products are looked after and arrive in the best condition at the store ready for our customers.
Support and full training will be provided.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will have good communication and maths skills. You must be physically fit due to working on a busy site for 8 hours a shift over 5 days a week.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
