VANTA Staffing have teamed up with an exciting brand based in the engineering industry.
Due to an expanding business, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the already established friendly team.
The successful candidate is someone who has an interest of engineering or a background of engineering and can act in a professional, proactive manner.
The successful Workshop Operative duties will include;
- Creating a variety of products to high specification – Basic knowledge of how to use hand tools and good electrical knowledge.
- Completing orders for customers as and when needed.
- Working within the team to ensure prep is completed when required.
- Assisting with daily running of the business including: Receiving supplies, loading finished products, packing orders ready for dispatch and assisting with faulty returns.
- Be able to have the confidence to communicate on all levels.
- Complying with Health & Safety requirements.
- Hours of work, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm.
The successful Machine Operative will enjoy;

Required experience & characteristics;
- Have a basic understanding of engineering principles (electrical, mechanical or mechatronic).
- Have an interest & desire to develop in an engineering/workshop environment.
- Strong communication and confident to point out mistakes
- Live within commutable distance to the location
- Reliable & conscientious
- Courteous, polite & professional
