Operations team member will be trained to work anywhere in the warehouse form inbound receiving, picking packing and despatching. Our team members will have plenty of opportunity to develop their skills with training provided to multiple warehouse management systems.
46 hours per week, shifts available:
Orange shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday every week. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are predominantly day shifts (6:00am until 5:30pm). Monday is a night shift commencing at 6:00pm and finishing at 5:30am on Tuesday
We are currently recruiting for the following Operational vacancies at Hams Hall:
Operations Team Members
Operations Team Members are responsible for the receipt of inbound loads, picking orders, preparing loads for despatch, and loading vehicles using MHE. All of these tasks should be undertaken in a safe and healthy manner, whilst ensuring accuracy and product quality. The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to work as a team
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience of working in a busy warehouse
- Experience of manual handling effectively
- Understanding of Quality and Health and Safety Standards
- Ability to work on own initiative
- MHE Licences are advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
- Ability to operate basic operating systems is preferable
As part of the recruitment process all applicants must attach CV and will be required to undertake basic skills testing for literacy and numeracy skills.
Salary based on 46 hours per week for this role is £27,256.84 + £2,650.00 shift allowance per annum, paid monthly
