Job description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operative for our client based in Basildon. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently, aligning with company’s commitment to excellence.
Some of the duties are, and not limited to:
- Receiving and Processing Incoming Stock: Carefully unload merchandise, verify shipments by matching them with orders, and report discrepancies. Utilize modern inventory management systems to accurately record and organize stock.
- Order Fulfilment: Efficiently pick, pack, and label orders for shipment, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to customer specifications.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock checks and maintain an organized warehouse environment. Utilize inventory systems to accurately track stock levels, identify discrepancies, and ensure stock integrity.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of workplace safety and cleanliness. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Shifts: Rotating 6am-130pm rotating
Payrate: £10.42 increasing to £11.44 from April. Weekly pay!
