Parcelforce, the most trusted and successful parcel delivery business, has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as a warehouse operative.This is a temporary position.Your Duties Will Include (But Not Exclusive):
- Unloading and loading vans
- Manual handling of parcels up to 30kg
- Scanning and checking labels
- Ensuring that parcels are handled safely to prevent damage
- Unwrapping and wrapping pallets
- Checking for any damage or faults in goods
The ideal candidate:
- We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
- We are looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly
- Fast-paced and target oriented environment
- Must be able to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 30kg
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed
- Experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to carry out continual heavy lifting
- Knowledge of goods in and goods out scanning systems
