Contract: Temp – PermPertemps Industrial are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for their client based in Kidderminster. Working on a static day shift in a brand-new state-of-the-art facility, the role will involve assembling products by hand and carrying out basic quality checks.The Duties of a Warehouse Operative:
– Assemble / re-work products following customer specification
– Quality checking of products prior to dispatch to customer
– Picking and Packing items
– Moving stock to the correct location
– Sweeping and general upkeep of the warehouseThe Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:
– Have previous experience of working in a warehousing environment
– Have some assembly experience although not essential
– Ensure pick rate is high and mistakes are minimal
– Have an excellent timekeeping & attendance
– The warehouse can be cold during winter months
– Physical work required, manoeuvring items up to 15kg
