Job description: Cogent Staffing are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift License for our Bradford based client. Working part time hours, around 20 hours per week. Following a 12 week qualifying period, successful candidates will be offered a permanent contract.
It is essential you are punctual, reliable and mindful of upholding Health & Safety regulations at all times on site.
Shift/salary:
Working Monday to Friday
15:00-finish (usually 19:00)
£10.42 per hour
Min. 20 hours per week
The role:
Actively working as part of a small warehousing team
Unloading goods to site, scanning and sorting parcels onto cages and pallets as required
Being mindful at all times of live or fragile items
Upholding company values and quality when handling parcels and items
Operating RF scanners
Operating electric forklifts on site (counterbalance)
Communicating and liaising effectively with other members of the warehouse team
Any other duties as required
The candidate:
Is looking for a part time role
Can work part time on a permanent basis
Can commute successfully to Bradford BD4
Is physically fit to carry out lifting and sorting of parcels and items within the warehouse
Ideally has immediate availability to start
Holds a valid counterbalance forklift license
