Job description: Cogent Staffing are recruiting for experienced FLT / Warehouse Operatives for our client based in York, YO26. Work is on a temporary to permanent basis with successful candidates being offered a permanent role after 12 weeks.
Duties
The accurate Picking of a customer’s order.
The Production of courier despatch labels.
Weekly Stock Take counts and accurate Record Keeping.
Replenishment and Rotation of stock within Picking Zones.
Helping to keep the despatch area clean and safe.
Operating FLT When required
It is expected that the successful candidate will have the following work experience and skills.
Experienced in working in a busy warehouse.
Ideally holds a current Fork Lift Truck Licence.
Keen, Reliable and Willing to Learn.
Has own Transport and holds Full UK Driving Licence.
Warehouse Operative Position
Hours of work are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 1:00pm Friday. (Total 39 hours per week).
20 days holiday per annum (rising to 25 according to length of service) plus statutory Bank Holidays.
Paid day off on your birthday (after 1 year’s service).
£11.19 rising to £11.45
