Job description: Abatec is currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative for our client’s Production Team.

No prior experience is required, but punctuality and a willingness to learn new skills are imperative.

Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The company are offering:

• Consistent shifts
• Monday – Friday / Days and Nights (weekly rotation shift)
• No weekends
• Progression and upskilling

Key Responsibilities for Warehouse (Packer) Operative:

• Operating machinery and equipment for assembly tasks
• Packing a variety of products
• Picking and packing items of various shapes and sizes
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines
• Following detailed instructions and packing specifications
• Verifying completion of Webster tests and tensile tests before packing
• Maintaining accuracy in order length
• Reporting completed packs and printing labels

Personal skills and experience:

• Proficient in hand and power tool operation.
• Detail-oriented with precision in component assembly.
• Effective problem-solving in technical scenarios.
• Previous experience in manufacturing assembly work will be an advantage.
