Newstaff Employment Services, is looking for a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE with PIVOT/LLOP experience for a leading logistics and distribution company based in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire.
Experienced Warehouse Operative with a Pivot Steer/LLOP certificate is required.
Job Description: As an Experienced Warehouse Operative with a Pivot Steer/LLOP certificate, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling goods, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth flow of products within our warehouse facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Pivot Steer or Low-Level Order Picker (LLOP) to move and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and shelves using appropriate equipment.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Accurately pick, pack, and label products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Safely handle hazardous materials following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative in a similar role.
- Valid Pivot Steer or Low-Level Order Picker (LLOP) certificate.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with the following working hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Day Shift
- Flexible hours
Salary:
The salary for this position is between £11.50 – £13 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
