Job description: Ideal Recruit are looking for warehouse operatives ona temp to berm basis for a well established company based in Dunstable area.

Work Hours: 8:00 to 18:45

Hourly pay rate: £10.50/hr

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the received items against the accompanying documentation.
• Inspect goods for any damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Record and update inventory systems with received quantities and product information

• Ensure proper storage of goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Follow established procedures for organizing and labeling inventory to facilitate easy retrieval.
• Implement and maintain a systematic approach to inventory management.

• Collaborate with suppliers, freight carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues related to inbound shipments.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and address any challenges promptly.

• Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Comply with all relevant regulations and standards governing warehouse operations.

Experience required for role:

• Experience of working in a Warehouse / Logistics business
• Numerate and literate
• Ability to use own initiative to problem solve
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work accurately and methodically
• Ability to plan and organise work
• Flexible approach to duties and tasks to meet the demands of the job
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items

Expected salary: £50 – 10.5 per hour
