Your Purpose

We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operator on a permanent full-time basis joining our Operations Function in Tadcaster.
This role is responsible for the safe and effective loading within and from the warehouse. You will operate a forklift truck to decant and bulk load trailers while working to support in minimizing stock losses. You will be a key part of the team and will be involved in upholding Environmental, Health and Safety standards in line with Standard Operating Procedures and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team, you will ensure production loading and unloading requirements are met through rotating within the work area to provide coverage where necessary.
  • This role is responsible for the storing of kegs from the production line and from contract pack trailers. You will also be involved in the loading of outbound trailers.
  • You will help to ensure the warehouse is effectively operated and maintained in accordance with locally created Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hygiene standards.
  • You will be involved in identifying the root cause of problems to close loops and ensure we are continually learning and following best practice while escalating issues if necessary.
  • In addition to this, you will contribute to process, quality and productivity improvements which will be reflected in revised SOPs.
  • You will be involved in regular maintenance and quality checks.
  • Along with the rest of the warehouse team, you will assess and continuously improve performance systems (PDCQEM) based on your own knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • You will help to ensure that the team works within all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety legislation.
