Job description: Job DescriptionBrook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client to recruit a new full time and permanent Warehouse SupervisorDuties
- Manage a team of Warehouse Operatives – giving direction and leadership
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and processes
- Ensure warehouse staff adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Deal with attendance management assist with disciplinary meetings
- Ensure that both the warehouse and outside yard are tidy and accessible at all times
- Ensure adherence to site procedures, standards, and audit processes.
- Ensure development of warehouse staff where required
- Complete accident and internal reports as per KPI’s and company processes.
- Complete training with new employees and implement further employee training when required.
- Develop and maintain effective working relations with all areas of the business
Criteria
- Good communication skills – Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the business
- Must have supervisor experience in a warehouse environment.
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible and be able to adaptable to change
- Ability to take accountability, lead the team and remain resilient
- Strong time and priority management skills.
- PC Literate
- Forklift License.
- Full, clean driver’s license.
