Warehouse Supervisor / Delivery Driver required for a temp-to-perm assignment with a wholesale company based in Bristol, BS3.
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
- £29,500 per annum
- Free parking on site, or close to bus stop (U2, 505, 24, X1, X2, X3, X4, X6, X7, X8, X9)
- Start ASAP
- Weekly paid for first 16 weeks before transferring to a permanent contract
About the job
- To deputise for the manager in their absence
- Responsible for picking stock and loading vans
- Manage incoming deliveries of stock
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Operation of forklift within the warehouse – training can be provided
- Supporting the delivery team – covering absences or during busy periods
- When required to do delivery driving – approx. 12 drops per day within 30-mile radius of depot
The right candidate
- Comfortable with regular lifting, carrying and driving
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment as order picker, warehouse operative, goods in etc
- Basic IT skills
- Great customer service skills, as you will dealing with local independent retailers!
- Full UK Manual driving licence with no more than 3 points.
