Job description: Logistics done differently.XPO Logistics are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader for our Daimler contract in Milton Keynes to assist the Shift Manager in the effective and efficient operation of the early shift. This is your opportunity to be part of a busy and unique warehouse operation. Working across Monday to Friday, 06:00am – 14:30pm, you will be comfortable organising the shift and ensuring that colleagues are meeting the targets set so that all goods are picked, packed and loaded to meet the customers needs and our transport requirements. – does this sound like something for you?Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,500 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. - Assist the shift manager with the day to day running of the early shift, including interactions with the customer.
- Drive standards for operational compliance and health and safety
- Ensure that early shift KPIs are hit are meet the customer SLAs
- Get involved in HR activity, including incident investigations.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Previous experience in warehouse management
- Ideally, you’ll have worked in a 3PL environment and understand customer needs
- Practical exposure and working knowledge of SAP.
- A strong can-do approach and ability to work as part of a team.
