We match Clients and Care assistants, on regular rota visits, based on mutual interests and hobbies, to help build bonds of trust and help us provide personalised support. We take our clients out shopping or for drives or even just walks – the choice is theirs!

Join our team at Home Instead Bristol North as a Care Professional and contribute to the well-being of older people in your community. In this rewarding role, you will make a significant difference to someone’s life by delivering unrushed, person-centred care to brighten their weekend.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish meaningful connections with our clients during weekend visits, by being a friend and companion and assisting with personal care, while maintaining their dignity and respect.

2. Create a comfortable home environment by helping with light household tasks and meal preparations.

3. Assist clients in relaxation and preparation for their day.

4. Engage in enjoyable activities such as reading cherished books or watching favourite TV shows together.

5. Maintain open and regular communication with clients and their families, ensuring the highest standard of care and peace of mind.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential as thorough in-house training will be provided.

2. Strong written and spoken English skills.

3. A UK Driver’s Licence and access to your own car is required to support clients with trips out and appointments.

4. Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.

5. Natural caring and friendly nature, with the ability to build respectful and positive relationships with clients and their families.
