Job description: SystemsAccountants are supporting a leading Financial Services business with their search for a Workday Financials Functional Lead. This is a new role within the business, responsible for the support, administration and continued roll-out of Workday Financials across the group.About the role:– Running the Workday support desk using Jira, responding to day-to-day queries such as security and configuration change requests
– Maintain & develop new business processes across Workday Financials
– Collaborate with a range of stakeholders, from external Workday Consultants to Senior Finance Leadership
– Lead training for Finance and non-Finance users on Workday
– Communicate Workday best practices (and constraints) to overseas teams during the continued roll-out
– Carry out functional testing of Workday when required
– Produce and maintain process and training documentationAbout you:– Demonstrable, hands-on experience supporting Workday Financials (2+ years)
– Finance background, Accounting qualification preferred (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
– Involvement in Workday implementations
– Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbalThis role is based in London and will require weekly office travel.Sorry, applicants from outside the UK or requiring Visa sponsorship cannot be considered for this role.
Expected salary: £75000 – 80000 per year
