We are looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to join our team on a permanent basis 36 hours per week.

This is an incredible opportunity for an individual who would like to bring their expert knowledge and skills to lead the Wrest Park Food and Beverage team to deliver excellent customer service, deliver enticing menus and get stuck in to our jam packed event programme.

What’s more, as part of our charity bringing history to life, you’ll be supported and encouraged to share your ideas, inspire others and make a difference to the way England’s rich past is experienced.

As our Food and Beverage Manager you will be responsible for leading your team to champion excellent customer service on a daily basis in a busy cafe as well as at other smaller outlets around the site. You will also deliver exciting menus at blockbuster events as well as cater for corporate gatherings.

You will work closely with the site team and the South F&B Support Manager to set objectives, keep accurate stock, food safety and allergen paperwork, and review performance to develop an empowered team.

To be considered as a Food and Beverage Manager, you will need:

– Experience of successfully leading a large team in a catering or hospitality environment

– To be an effective communicator with the ability to inspire and sell your vision to keep your team actively engaged

– Experience of HACCP, Food Safety, allergen labelling legislation and full understanding of health and safety in a food and beverage environment

– Familiar with budgets, increasing income and controlling costs

– To be flexible, adaptable, personable and have a can-do attitude
