Job description: Senior Business Analyst with strong analytical skills wanted for a manufacturing company based in the Midlands! Due to a recent acquisition, we are now looking to secure a Business Analyst to join their team on a contractual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Mapping for Recent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with the recently acquired business to map out processes in key areas: Commercial, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of existing internal controls, particularly financial controls, aligning with companies PLC expectations.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing internal controls, focusing on financial controls to meet company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance to document necessary changes, ensuring compliance with PLC expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Recommend and implement changes to existing processes to enhance productivity.
  • Conduct impact assessments for proposed process changes.
  • Working on an integration of processes of two companies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and system configurations.
  • Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date for relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and maximise commercial opportunities within the acquired business, leveraging its strengths.
  • Engage in mapping as-is commercial processes at both comapnies, working collaboratively with the team to develop improvement strategies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience and strong knowledge and experience in Commercial, Finance and Procurement.
  • This role involves travelling between sites based in the Midlands.

Expected salary: £77994 per year
