Job description: Senior Business Analyst with strong analytical skills wanted for a manufacturing company based in the Midlands! Due to a recent acquisition, we are now looking to secure a Business Analyst to join their team on a contractual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Mapping for Recent Acquisition:
- Collaborate with the recently acquired business to map out processes in key areas: Commercial, Procurement, and Finance.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of existing internal controls, particularly financial controls, aligning with companies PLC expectations.
- Evaluate and enhance existing internal controls, focusing on financial controls to meet company standards.
- Collaborate closely with Finance to document necessary changes, ensuring compliance with PLC expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Recommend and implement changes to existing processes to enhance productivity.
- Conduct impact assessments for proposed process changes.
- Working on an integration of processes of two companies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and system configurations.
- Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date for relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and maximise commercial opportunities within the acquired business, leveraging its strengths.
- Engage in mapping as-is commercial processes at both comapnies, working collaboratively with the team to develop improvement strategies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Business Analyst.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience and strong knowledge and experience in Commercial, Finance and Procurement.
- This role involves travelling between sites based in the Midlands.
